Excessive sulfated ash, phosphorus and sulfur (SAPS) in motor oil can harm modern exhaust treatment devices. Diesel particulate filters (DPFs), for example, require low-SAPS motor oil to resist filter plugging. This is primarily what makes this oil stand apart from the rest – it’s tested, verified and guaranteed to provide the needed protection. Recommended for the extended drain intervals established by the vehicle manufacturer. Change oil filter at time of oil change. – Of course you may always perform an oil analysis after changing the oil filter and topping off for maximum life of the oil.
COMPATIBILITY
AMSOIL European Car Formula is compatible with conventional and synthetic motor oils. Consequently, mixing AMSOIL motor oils with other oils will reduce the performance benefits.
Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL motor oils.
