The secrete to a long lasting chain really is to keep the sprocket lubed well. The chain lube can prevent this. Once the sprocket has been worn the resulting lash causes exponential wear. AMSOIL Chain Lube applied at proper intervals will prevent the so called “Stretched chain” which is really just worn sprocket faces and then subsequent chain pins.
It’s a newer product by AMSOIL. Prior was the Heavy Duty Metal Protector (Code AMH) but it wasn’t dedicated towards one task. This is and address the problems better so it’s formulated to answer to the requests of hard core dirt bike enthusiasts. Try it yourself and see why AMSOIL’s Chain Lube is the best one on the market today!
