Expanding AMSOIL Championship Off-Road schedule

Looking to expand off a highly successful season amidst a national pandemic, AMSOIL Championship Off-Road adds one more stop to its tour this season, the above-mentioned Lions International Raceway, in Antigo, Wis.

The track is no stranger to off-road racing, with our own Scott Douglas holding the track’s record for all-time Pro 4×4 wins.

Next is the first of two stops in Crandon, Wis., at the world-renowned Crandon International Raceway.

Then it’s off to what has become a staple for both AMSOIL Championship Off-Road and Snocross, ERX Motorpark in Elk River, Minn.

Kicking off the second half of the season is new fan and driver favorite Dirt City Motorplex, in Lena, Wis. Bark River International Raceway is the second-to-last stop before heading back down to Crandon Raceway for the Labor Day Weekend World Championships.

Pro 2wd is great again

With the dissolution of the West Coast Off-Road series, more drivers have found themselves migrating east, including Jerrett Brooks and Doug Mittag, to contend with Kyle Kleiman for this season’s Pro 2wd title. As a matter of fact, this past weekend in Anitgo, 20 trucks hit the start line for the Pro 2wd final during the opening round Saturday.

The Pro Lite class also saw migrants from the West Coast added to an already stacked field.

The SxS field also looks stacked this season. With CJ Greaves narrowly taking home both the Pro Stock and Pro Mod championships this season, his past contenders look to return to the start line with a vengeance. With the fullest car counts the series has seen in quite some time, this season is sure to be contentious.

Relive all the action

As always, all of this season’s AMSOIL Championship Off-Road rounds will air live during race weekend. But new this year, CBS Sports Network will air six, one-hour episodes. Already home to 17 original hours of AMSOIL Championship Snocross, the series will be able to reach into homes all across North America. Re-air dates start June 27 with the Antigo National. Get a full breakdown of the schedule below.

Next up for AMSOIL Championship Off-Road is the Forest Potawatomi Brush Run June 26-27 at Crandon International Raceway. You can tune into all the action live on our AMSOIL Community page or watch the re-air listed above.

We’ll see you at the races!
