A must upgrade for Polaris Rangers is our indestructible 100% Synthetic 0W-50 UTV and ATV oil
The way a lot of our customers use their ATV’s demand proper lubrication and cooling when most competitor oils sheer out. Why pay more for an oil that isn’t the viscosity you paid for after a few uses? You can virtually feel and hear the difference.
The newest to the AMSOIL ATV/UTV 4-stroke Powersports lineup is the 0W-50 (AUV05) 100% Synthetic Engine Oil. It features a viscosity index of a whopping 191. All you have to know is this number represents quality and it’s a BIG jump from our other items and the competition. Check out the ATV lineup’s data sheet to make more sense.
The 0W-50 is also an upgrade from our own 5W-50 (AUV50) which is my local best seller. Don’t let that ZERO fool you. It’s still a 50 weight but designed to take more abuse in all climates. If you do your research all roads point to our AUV05 (0W-50 ATV/UTV oil).
The 0W-50 was specifically made for the ultimate protection in Ranger, RZR, sportsman and General models by Polaris.
AMSOIL Proves all the high end products by testing beyond the likely maximum stresses the vehicle is likely to experience.
The best High Performance Choice
As mentioned earlier if you look at the data sheet for this one you will see of all our ATV oils, this one has the highest Viscosity Index. Compared to the 5W-50, it has a slightly lower operating viscosity. This indicates the oil is even more indestructible while causing less torque loss within the drive train. If you are in track events, hailing around a trailer with equipment, tires, etc., or need that instant throttle response on tough terrain order the AUV05.

Pricing Hack:
Hint! Calculate the best quart price by using the Preferred customer case price (Case of 12) then divide by 12. It’s about $4 less per quart than the Polaris PS-4 Extreme 0W-50 was on Amazon.
To achieve maximum power output This 2018 Polaris Ranger’s engine was held at held at 45 miles per hour with the throttle wide open. With RPM’s exceeding 6000 pushing the engine and transaxle to their limits. Transaxle temperatures exceeded 280 Fahrenheit far exceeding normal conditions. Engine oil temperatures rose to 280 degrees while the CVT belt hit 270 degrees. AMSOIL Easily withstood the temperatures allowing it to continue to protect the parts.
After 1000 hours and 4000 miles the engine and transaxle were torn down to examine the parts!

AMSOIL 0W-50 100% Synthetic ATV/UTV Motor Oil | AUV05QT-CA
This one we get a lot of demand from both Polaris Scrambler and Sportsmen riders. So in this case our 0W-50 ATV oil is the choice for high performance use. Never use motorcycle oils! These are purpose built for the specific types of abuse these machines often see and how their engines are demanded of power. The needs of the clutch also determine our formulation. If you are doing more subtle or everyday (non-racing or crazy track use) our AFF 0w-40 or AUV50 5W-50 (our best seller) may be better and cost less.
Applications of the UTV/ATV line
Use AMSOIL 0W-50 Synthetic ATV/UTV Motor Oil in ATVs and UTVs that require a 0W-50 motor oil, including the Polaris Ranger, RZR, Sportsman and General. AMSOIL recommends 0W-50 Synthetic ATV/UTV Motor Oil in place of Polaris PS-4 Extreme Full Synthetic 0W-50 Engine Oil.

The Easy Choice! Power and Performance
If you need a 0W-50 ATV oil number one trust AMSOIL for synthetics. You actually get a real 100% synthetic built by those who totally analyze the ATV in the lab using decades of relevant data, then devise an oil for not only that particular ATV/UTV but for the use it’s likely to see. Then it’s tested for everything that can go wrong! It must have at least 4X the protection required by the industry tests. Ask Polaris who makes their oil. They won’t know just as it says on their bottle. And it’s “Fully” synthetic which can be just about anything.
Here’s a good question for your OEM dealer. Ask them for the product data sheet (for the motor oil). The fact they likely don’t have that says something.
