SKU: AUV54 Category:

AMSOIL 5W-40 UTV & ATV Synthetic Motor Oil

Specifically formulated for the nature of ATV/UTV powersports engine needs

Not just developed for the torque needs or low RPM nature of UTVs but the heat these engines face at work. Shrouded blocks requiring the oil to transfer heat over a smaller surface area under load need a specific blended oil. Then after operating at temperatures where most oils including the OEM start to leave deposits and lose viscosity, the AMSOIL 5W-40 is right in the viscosity you need.

And with or without being at our preferred customer discount level, AMSOIL customers save money over the OEM fluids of Can-Am, Kawasaki and others.

The new 5W-40, popular not just due to the better price

All that said, the real reason to select the AUV54 (Amsoil 5W-40) is the overall feel and performance! You will know instantly the motor runs better because that crank is being cushioned like it was designed. Other oils do not do well in these engines thus competitive outfits all come to AMSOIL! Check out the videos below to see how the powersports oil lines are tested!

Thank you to our customers this one has been an instant hit. Demand out did our supply from the start and our kits for the CanAm’s have been updated from our 0W-40 to this 5W-40 now (CK4, CK5 and CK6).

As for this the Can-Am Defender HD10 seems to be very popular with our customers.

Great oil

By  KENNY,  a  Verified Buyer  from  Montana   on  November 22, 2024
It dropped my oil temperature 7 degrees, helped keep that turbo from getting quite so hot.

Sitting on a smooth engine!!

By  ANDRE,  a  Verified Buyer  from  St-Anne, New Brunswick   on  November 14, 2024
This is the third engine oil change that I have done on my 3000 km atv. The first 2 was the manufacturer oil. Sitting on the engine, I could hear a lot of metal working in there! Now since I’m using Amsoil, the engine is really silent!!!! At any speed, hi rev or hunting quietly, you can absolutely feel the lubrication difference!! Never nothing else than Amsoil for me!!!!!!!

Best Lubricant on the Market

By  Marine 1,  a  Verified Buyer  from  Virginia  on  June 05, 2024
I use AMSOIL Synthetic Lubricants in every machine I own. During the last 50 years (I’m 68 now) I have never experienced a wear issue with a Gear Box, Transmission, Transfer Case, or Internal Combustion Engine.
