The single bypass kit offers Ford 6.7 owners a easy way to reduce maintenance costs, wear and save time while using their truck for work. This kit simplified the old issue regarding feeding the unit for oil. The locally machines oil filter adapter has the port to supply the 2-micron filter with oil. Then easily returns the clean oil back to the oil fill cap.
All you really need to do to decide if this kit is right for you is find a place to mount it. An area approximately 5″ by 5″ by 10″ is all you need. As you see the unit its self is the mount. Some use some type of standoff material as a spacer if needed.
As you can see in the instructions (link above or here) you also get 12 feet of hose to route the unit wherever you want. Frame, fender, in front of the radiator, engine, firewall, cowling, etc.
Simply change the oil filter at 70,000 mile intervals or 2-years whichever comes first. OR change when the filter isn’t warming as quickly as you think it should. You will see reduced flow to the cap as well..
These units are really a soot eliminating devise. Once you have the kit installed and are using our Signature Series by using oil analysis and following the advice on the tests you will be shocked as how far that oil change will go. There are no unknowns and no guessing with this system and with the Signature Series you will be astonished with its performance as well (and the things you can’t see such as rust protection which is not offered by our competition).
Our Signature Series Max Duty is 25K miles in light duty trucks and 60K miles in OTR trucks – couple that with these bypass kits and double that possible as long as you use oil analysis and quality full flow filters. This also assumes you are not using any racing mods to the engine but even so, you would want better filtration as our parallel or secondary filtration devise. The reason the AMSOIL bypass kits are as popular as they are is because of their ultra low cost to replace.
When you call me to order be sure to get a couple spare bypass filters and spare Ford 6.7 (EAO98) oil filters too which are 99% at 20 micron.

Do Transmission Fluid Additives Work? John Baker| Feb 26, 2024 9:04 AM Walk the aisles of most auto parts stores and you’ll find multiple “mechanic-in-a-bottle”-type additives that claim to restore transmission performance. The claims made typically include some variation of the following: • Frees stuck valves to improve shifting • Fixes transmission slipping • Restores smooth […]
Understanding Oil Viscosity Viscosity is the measure of a fluid’s resistance to flow. _by David Hilgendorf|January 17, 2023 The physical properties of lubricants are measured by characteristics like viscosity, shear stability, high- and low-temperature performance, water resistance and volatility. Lubrication science seeks to optimize a lubricant’s performance by managing these properties using different base oils […]
