Full-SAPS 0W-40 Formulation for Maximum Engine Protection

AMSOIL European Car Formula (0W-40) contains high-quality anti-wear additives and surpasses tough vehicle-manufacturer oil specifications. It provides outstanding protection in high-rpm, hot-running engines and delivers dependable long-term performance for the extended drain intervals recommended by European vehicle manufacturers.

Superior Engine Cleanliness

The excellent oxidation stability, heat resistance and detergency properties of AMSOIL European Motor Oil help keep engines clean. It is specifically designed to prevent
sludge and varnish deposits, reduce oil consumption, extend engine life and provide maximum performance.

All-Season Performance – The 0W-40 is the best choice when you see it listed with the other choices

The broad 0W-40 viscosity rating, low volatility (burn-off) and wax-free nature of AMSOIL European Car Formula make it excellent for hot and cold temperatures. It helps reduce engine wear, control oil thickening and provide easier cold starts.

Excellent For Turbochargers

  • Robust composition shields engines from high temperatures produced by turbochargers.
  • Thermally stable oil formulation resists deposit formation and cools turbochargers.
  • Low pour point protects turbochargers against oil starvation in subzero temperatures.

AMSOIL European Motor Oil has a robust composition that shields engines from the high temperatures produced by turbochargers. Its thermally stable oil formulation
resists deposit formation and cools turbochargers. Its low pour point protects turbochargers against oil starvation in subzero temperatures and ensures a rapid
return to appropriate oil pressure at startup.

European 0W-40 APPLICATIONS

Often an all season upgrade from 5W-40 or 10W-40 versions.

AMSOIL European Car Formula 0W-40  Synthetic Motor Oil is formulated to meet or exceed the most demanding European specifications. It is recommended for European gasoline and diesel vehicles requiring any of the following performance specifications:

  • API SN/SM
  • ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4
  • BMW LL-01
  • Mercedes-Benz 229.1, 229.3, 229.5
  • Porsche A40
  • Renault 0710, 0700
  • Volkswagen 502.00, 505.00

0W-40 Service Life

Recommended for the extended drain intervals established by the vehicle manufacturer. Change oil filter at time of oil change.

COMPATIBILITY

AMSOIL European Car Formula is compatible with conventional and synthetic motor oils. Mixing AMSOIL motor oils with other oils, however, will reduce the performance benefits.

Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL motor oils. It’s really a dumb thing to do.

Changed the engine oil in my VW CC . I would take it in for oil change while under warranty. Now that my warranty has expired I decided to change it my self and use a quality motor oil. I noticed a smother idle and my valve train quite down. I will continue to use amsoil on my VW.
